# FreeProxy API

> A paid proxy list API with no local registration for accessing application-verified public free proxy lists. It is not an open forward proxy.

## Product

- Price: $4.99 per month with automatic renewal.
- Access: Stripe Checkout; no local account or password.
- Credential: an expiring API key is issued after the server verifies the completed Checkout Session.
- Lifecycle: the key works only while the subscription is active or trialing and current_period_end is in the future.
- Data: the API returns proxy metadata and verification timestamps; the service does not relay a caller's traffic.
- Reliability: public free proxies can disappear, slow down, or be blocked. No fixed count, uptime, geography, or success rate is promised.

## API

- GET /api/v1/proxies — list verified, unexpired proxy records.
- GET /api/v1/proxy — return one matching proxy record.
- Authentication: X-API-Key or Authorization: Bearer.
- Filters: protocol and limit. Country and anonymity metadata are not currently populated by the collector.
- Verification: published records pass an application-level reachability check; passing it does not guarantee access to other websites.

## Usage boundary

Use only where the proxy source, target website, network provider, and local law allow it. Do not send passwords, payment data, or other sensitive traffic through public proxies.
